On Saturday, we drove out to Cedar Creek Lake for Ethan's 1st birthday party. Ethan is our friends', Amy and David's, littlest kid. (Amy is the photographer who takes all of Maddi's awesome pictures!) We had a great time out there as well! What a fun weekend!
As soon as we pull into the gate at the ranch, Maddi is allowed to "help" Daddy drive down the dirt drive.

I brought this nifty little bubble machine I got at Target and set it up out on the porch. It blows TONS of bubbles and beats the heck out of me having to sit their and blow bubbles through that little wand until I get light-headed.
You will notice she is in the same dress the next day as she was the previous day at the party. We got home so late that she didn't want to put her pj's on. She told us she just wanted to go to bed, so we let her. The next morning, I tried to change her before we went outside and she said she didn't want to. She wanted to stay in her dress. I was then informed by Daddy that that is the beauty of the ranch. You are allowed to do whatever you want to, including wearing your clothes two days in a row! Ha!
