Maddi's "1" Today!!!

OH, what a difference a year makes! My baby girl turned 1 today and I can't believe it! The time has gone by way too quickly! When I think about this day a year ago and then look at how big she is now it just amazes me! Every day she is doing something new! She is learning the baby sign language and can sign milk, please, thank you, and more. She has said both mama and dada and even "meow." She loves the cat! We officially got to turn her carseat to forward facing today! She thought that was pretty neat and smiled all the way home!

Even though we are actually having her real party on Saturday, Moss and I celebrated with her after work today! We had a great time! I made her favorite, mac and cheese, for dinner. Then I put a candle in a cupcake for her while we sang "Happy Birthday" to her! We let her put her fingers in the frosting but she wasn't too sure about all that! We gave her a wagon and a few other gifts which she really enjoyed! Especially the wagon! It was too dark by the time we gave it to her, but if it's nice out after work tomorrow I plan on pulling her around the block. For tonight, we had to settle for around the living room. Although, she seemed to enjoy that, too! We took some video but I will have to post that another time. But here are some pics from our evening! Happy Birthday Maddi! We love you!!!!
