Maddi had her 2 year check-up yesterday and I am very pleased to tell you that she passed with flying colors!!! Developmentally, she is right on track...and then some!! They asked if she had at least a 50 word vocabulary. Uh...yeah! She has that several times over!! Unfortunately, though, she has reached that age where she knows what the doctor's office is. She has had two shots this year already. The seasonal flu vaccine in September and the H1N1 vaccine just last week. Needless to say, when we just pull up to the building she recognizes it and starts whining. When we pulled up for her appointment, she kept saying "No boo boo!" (meaning a shot.) I felt so bad! But, luckily she did not have to get any shots at all yesterday!!! Yay! But she was less than thrilled with the whole process of having to get undressed, measuring her length and weight, etc. She didn't cry but would say "no" and whine a bit. She did pretty good while Dr. Fitzgerald examined her ears, nose, eyes, heart, and lungs. But when it came to the part where I had to lay her down on our knees she started crying. She doesn't like that at all! But then we were done and all was well again!!

Weight: 27 lbs 2 oz (55th percentile)
Height: 35 inches (80th percentile)
Head circ: 47.5 cm (50th percentile)
Can't wait to post pics of my big 2 year old baby girl tomorrow!!!
