First Swim Lesson
Maddi had her first swim lesson today! It was so much fun! We are taking her to Aqua Kids. All they do is children's swim lessons. The pool is heated and it is so nice! I didn't get cold once. We actually tried her in swim lessons back in the fall at the community center here. But the pool wasn't heated and she froze! We went to one lesson and said forget it. So we found this place and, like I said, it is great! I was worried at first because for the first ten minutes she absolutely hated it and acted totally freaked out by the water. But then we did a couple of little exercises that, for whatever reason, calmed her down and she did a complete 180! She was a totally different kid and she LOVED it! She was a little fish after that! I'm so glad. Hopefully, she'll start off that way at her next lesson. Here are some pics of her in her adorable bathing suit!
