Moss' parents were in town this weekend also. His dad ran the Cowtown Marathon and got 1st in his age group! Yay Grandpa! Unfortunately, since Maddi and I were at Sesame Street Live, (which we bought tickets for several months ago not knowing it would end up on the same weekend) we didn't get to go and cheer him on. But we are very proud of him!

Right at intermission, this guy comes out and parades this handful of Elmo balloons in front of all the kids! Of course, they all wanted one! I took $20 up there to find out they were $10 a piece! Highway robbery! Of course, I got 2 anyway. I threatend them they better not let them go! Within 5 minutes, Kaily let hers go! Agh! So I wouldn't let anyone hold the last one. I kept it the rest of the show. I even took it to the bathroom with me! I wasn't letting $10 go up in the air again! And, yes, I realize it's just going to deflate but that's not the point! And worse, they bring them out at intermission, and then ask you to put it under your seat for the second half of the show! It was big and didn't really fit under the seat. Ridiculous! Why not wait until the end?
