One Year Check-up

With everything that has been going on lately, I totally forgot to post about Maddi's check-up! Everything went really well. He said her ear infection cleared up which I was really glad to hear. We have been given the green light to get her onto whole milk now. She has started drinking that at school and has done really well with it. We still give her formula in a bottle at home, but only one in the morning and one before bed. Hopefully, we will be able to wean her off of these as well soon. I think it is going to be tough though. She loves that bottle! Developmentally, she is doing everything she is supposed to be doing, which I was happy to hear! A couple of weeks ago when we took her in for the ear infection, she weighed in at 21 lbs 8.5 oz. Then she got a viral infection about a week later with vomiting and just no appetite. We took her in and she had dropped 7 oz to 21 lbs 1.5 oz!! Poor baby! Well, at this visit she weighed in at 21 lbs 4.5 oz (50th percentile). So she gained 3 oz back which is good! And I think she has definitely been getting her appetite back! She measured at 29 3/4 in which is only a 1/4 inch gain. I'm not too confident in their measuring techniques though. It's hard to believe she only grew a 1/4 inch in 3 months...but anyway. That still puts her in the 75th percentile for height. Tall and skinny! Nothing like me! Anyway, our baby continues to grow by leaps and bounds! I still can't believe she is 1 already!
