Thanksgiving 2008

This was actually Maddi's second Thanksgiving. Although, it almost felt like it was her first because last year at Thanksgiving she was only 10 days old. So she really wasn't able to really participate in the festivities. We were at my parents house this year and she actually got to eat all the traditional Thanksgiving food. She tried turkey, stuffing, and pumpkin pie and also got to have some of her faves--mashed potatoes, green beans, and corn! She liked it all! We ate early so we could relax the rest of the day and watch football! The girls all played until Ashly and Scott had to leave to go to Scott's family's house. Moss, Maddi, and I stayed the night and went back to Lewisville on Friday. Moss' family was in town as well. They spent Thanksgiving Day with Moss' sister and her boyfriend, but we were able to spend the rest of the weekend hanging out with them! They even watched Maddi for us on Saturday night so Moss and I could FINALLY go out for our anniversary! We had a great time the entire holiday weekend and enjoyed spending it with our families! Unfortunately, I did a bad job of taking pics over the weekend! It just gets so hectic that it makes it easy to forget. I did get a few though so enjoy! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Moss and I dressed up for our "night out on the town." Yeah, right! We went to a movie and dinner and were home by 8:45! Man...are we old or what! It was still fun though!
