Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo

We went to the rodeo on Sunday and had a great time! Maddison enjoyed it all for the most part. We were actually surprised at how well she did. She normally has a 2 hour nap around 10:30 but instead she slept for about 30 minutes on the way there in the morning and stayed awake until after 4! The rodeo started at 2 and we thought for sure she would pass out as soon as we sat down. But she stayed awake during the whole thing! She was clapping and cheering and dancing and she LOVED it! She got a little restless towards the end but never got fussy. However, as soon as we got her back in her stroller afterwards she was asleep in like 2 seconds. We always have such a great time at the stock show and rodeo and I'm so glad she is finally at the age where we can start sharing it with her! Next year should be even better!

My little cowgirl! She did fairly well in her boots. We had one mishap when we were in the exhibit hall. She tried to run in her boots and she tripped and face planted into the cement floor and got a tiny nosebleed! I felt horrible!

In her boots and jeans with Bud!

Sweet Sadee Lynne!

Sissi and Kaily!

Sadee enjoying the bunnies.

Petting a bunny!

Sadee and Aunt Trisha.

No Maddi in this picture. She only wanted Bud to hold her! Little stinker!

"What are looking at?"

Blue-eyed cousins!

Eating some lunch.

Kaily and Maddi petting Beauregard. Maddi LOVED him! She sat there and petted him for like 10 minutes. Too cute!

Here she is trying to climb into the pen to pet him!

Kaily petting Elsie.

Maddi wasn't too sure about petting Elsie. She liked the little cow better.

At the rodeo.

Sadee finally gave in to sleep!

Kaily and Sadee on the pony. We wanted Maddi to do this too. But she was asleep in her stroller. She did wake up towards the end and we tried to get her on it but she wanted nothing to do with it! Oh well. Maybe next year!

Petting the baby goats.

Funny Sadee! What a trooper!

We did get her to tolerate a picture with the baby goats, although she was not that enthusiastic about it.

Kaily really wanted to pet a cow.

This was just before we left. What a tired baby girl!

Okay I finally looked at all the pictures! And I love them! Sadee is so funny with all those teeth that stick out! We call her snaggle tooth. I love the pics. Maybe Maddi will be a little more interested in petting the animals next year!
